Simplifying a bit we can explain MICRO BEADS RETRO-REFCTIVE TECHNOLOGY is made up of 3 layers:
BACKING: fabric or the backing that is requested to be reflective.
Fabric can be stretch or non-stretch, made up of different compositions such as PA, PES, COT.
Backing can be made up of PU or PVC (phthalates free);
RESIN: layer where micro beads will be drowned.
MICRO BEADS: high reflection index micro beads are the real reflective part.
The combination of BACKING, RESIN and MICRO BEADS define MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL and REFLECTION features of final product such as washing cycles resistance, EN471 compliancy, flame retardant and/or antistatic features, stretch or non-stretch.
